The coast of this town is a succession of beaches by the crystal clear sea and Vico Equense retains many vestiges of the past: the territory is the only Gothic church on the peninsula, the Church of the Annunciation, and the castle founded by the Anjou called Giusso Castle.

Of particular relevance is the Campania Mineralogical Museum, where are exposed more than 3,500 specimens of 1,400 species of minerals from all over the world and with an interesting section of fossils.
